Meet Ronetta (Ronnie) Holland. A native of North Carolina, Ronnie has spent her life among Charlotte, Myrtle Beach, and Gastonia, but she’s not always been active in real estate. As with many great real estate agents, this is a second career for Ronnie.
Throughout most of her adult life, Ronnie has invested her love in her family and her drive into climbing the corporate ladder, building a successful career in corporate leadership; but Ronnie harbored a strong interest in real estate and a secret dream for years. After her mother’s passing, Ronnie says she had a “Jerry McGuire” moment. She faced down her fears, decided to turn her “what if” into “what is”, left her job, and jumped completely into real estate. Shortly after completing her licensing requirements this year, Ronnie’s career took off. Ronnie believes that is due, in part, to her training and attention to detail she honed in her first career.
Ronnie also believes that lessons learned from a long marriage help to make her a better real estate agent. Her first love is her husband of 26 years, and “wife” is her favorite role. The qualities one must develop and nurture as a long-time partner translate to the role of Realtor®️. Respect of others and treating them how she would like to be treated is the central theme in all of her relationships; family and clients alike.
Ronnie believes everyone who wants to own a home should be able to, and she adores that she gets to be a part of helping someone attain that piece of the American Dream. Her favorite thing about real estate is the feeling she gets when one of her clients closes on their new home. It’s joy; and she can’t get enough of it.
