Meet Jo-Ann LaVecchia, licensed in NC since 1978, Jo-Ann has over 40 years in Carolinas real estate. After buying Prudential Carolinas Realty, along with partners C. Donald Cann and John Cashatt, she became our managing partner and Broker-In-Charge, two of the many hats she still wears today.
While real estate is her chosen profession, Jo-Ann always wanted to be a teacher. She enjoyed mentoring new agents early in her career, which naturally led her to the role of instructor in 1981.
Now, after over 40 years in the business, and nearly 40 years teaching, she is considered the most distinguished real estate instructor in Gaston County, teaching at Gaston College, and fully engaged in training and mentoring the new agents of Carolinas Realty.
As a professional Realtor®️ in the Carolinas, Jo-Ann has taken her commitment to her profession, and her community, seriously. She has been, and still is, a member of several real estate and civic associations, was an integral part of the Gastonia revitalization effort, and is an active member of the Montcross and Gaston Regional Chambers of Commerce.
The recipient of multiple awards as a Realtor®️ and educator, Jo-Ann was most recently awarded the first Doug Black Lifetime Legacy Award in 2018.
As managing partner, teacher, trainer, and mentor, Jo-Ann is dedicated to shaping the Carolinas' next generation of real estate professionals, encouraging them to be active in their community and committed to making it a better place for all of us through active engagement in their profession and volunteerism, ensuring that our area is in excellent hands.
